The Team

The clinical team at Nexgen Specialty Pharmacy consists of well-trained and caring pharmacists, nurses, registered dietitians and patient service representatives. They possess expertise and passion in the specialized field of Home Infusion Therapy and sterile / non-sterile pharmaceutical compounding.  Our team has proven to be a tremendous asset to physicians, nurses, and the patients they treat. Due to the sensitive nature of the patients we serve and a commitment to providing superior service, a member of our staff is available 24/7 to assist you with your needs.

Clinical Pharmacist

The role of the Clinical Pharmacist is critical to the care coordination of our patients.

In concert with the ordering medical provider and nursing staff, the pharmacist will assess medication orders for appropriateness of selection, dosage and frequency at the start of service while also screening the medication profile for drug interactions and therapy duplication.

During the course of therapy on an individualized basis, the pharmacist will review, monitor and trend clinical lab values.  Our clinical pharmacists are equipped to recommend dosing changes or therapy options and monitor the  patient response to therapy with a goal of optimizing positive outcomes.

IV Therapy Nurse

The IV therapy nurse is specially trained and experienced to give hands on care to the patient by performing catheter access and care, medication administration and lab draws while teaching patients and their caregivers to confidently and safely infuse therapies in the comfort of their home.

To ensure goals of therapy are met, the IV nurse will also assess patient needs in the home and at our Ambulatory Infusion Center.

Patient Services Representative (PSR)

Your PSR will be responsible for coordinating your deliveries and supplies and will regularly contact you during business hours to update your supply inventory or delivery schedule.  Having a natural passion for helping others, the PSR is always happy to help where they can and is a key liaison between the patient and clinical staff.

We help to give you the freedom to keep you where your heart is . . . At Home.

Home infusion therapy is a welcome alternative to a busy hospital or medical center and a more convenient way of receiving intravenous medications and subcutaneous injections to treat a variety of conditions.
